Welcome to the website for Drumchapel United under 21s.

This season the U21s have achieved back to back league titles following on from last seasons U19s who claimed the League, Blackpool Cup and Scottish Cup in 2007/2008.

The Under 21's in season 2007/2008 finished in 5th place in the league despite having good victories along the way. There were no players remaining from this squad.

The season started with an impressive set of results in the Glasgow Cup winning a group section with two Premier League sides in it. The side were joint third in the competition after losing in the semi final to eventual winners Glasgow Amateurs.

There was a camping trip in September which was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone in attendance. The players also had the opportunity to attend a Paint-balling trip in November. There has been one race night organised and a halloween party that the players showed their style during attendance.

The squad went to Amsterdam during the Easter weekend and returned with the Overamstel 1st place Trophy. The trip was an amazing success.

The clubs participation in the first Lucozade Sports' Performance League is also exciting which will be based on their league performance against 79 other UK adult football sides. Drumchapel managed to come 3rd at Christmas time and after leading the table since January, eventually were crowed the 1st LSPL Champions. As winners the team were treated to a match in Old Trafford where they beat Oakwood AFC from Kent 1-0 before being awarded the LSPL Trophy.

Snips hairdressers in Clydebank have donated money toward footballs for the last 3 season.

Lucozade Sport has provided us with a brand new set of nike strips (black and white stripes), a supply of lucozade throughout the season and a visit from one of their very own sport scientists to work with the squad and test the players against the standard of Premiership stars in England.

We have submitted entries for the Steven Gerrard Challenges and Goal of the season competition and have also been live on Talk-sport Radio disussing the progress of the club. There are exciting times ahead for Drumchapel United.
